This story is part of the Unstatement series in collaboration with PolitiTweet, another Politiwatch initiative.

Ted Cruz, the junior U.S. Senator from Texas since 2013, has a clean political track record. His image in the public conscious is not tainted by any singular event, and is generally well-regarded simply for not being either Trump or among his subordinates.

Still, Ted Cruz's Twitter is not without its retractions. Polititweet, Politiwatch's Twitter archival service, has been monitoring Cruz's deleted tweets. Since November 2016, Ted Cruz has deleted 64 tweets. None of them are particularly scandalous, however each one offers a bit of insight into post-Trump Washington—and the information it doesn't want seeping out.
